Climax Patterns

Climax patterns mark the point of maximum emotional intensity in a trend — the moment when the last buyers have bought or the last sellers have sold. These patterns are characterized by extreme volume, wide-range candles, and often gap moves. Buying climaxes mark the end of uptrends, while selling climaxes mark the end of downtrends. Recognizing climax behavior is one of the most valuable skills in trading because it identifies the exact moment when a trend is most likely to reverse.
